Food for America Today

Recently, Food For America has expanded its mission to focus on needy families of New Jersey. Food For America was one of the primary donors that provided funds to a local family that lost their home to a devastating fire. In December 2007, Food For America was recognized for a "$20,000 donation to provide crucial support to New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger, an endangered nonprofit program that delivers more than 1.5 million pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables to thousands of poor New Jerseyans each year" (The Times, 2007).

How Food for America works

The success of Food For America relies on the support of donators and volunteers. Gennaro Costabile and Antonio Ruffa lead others in donating food goods from their restaurant, time and other services to provide the much needed change in our community. It's Dinner Time!

It's Diner Time, Caffe Piazza is proud to announce that we will continue our monthly "Diner Time Program" in support of Food For America! This special program offers families a tremendous value, while at the same time, donates a portion of each order to FOOD FOR AMERICA!

Designed to feed a family of 6 to 8 people with generous portions of our Special House Salad, Famous Penne Vodka and Homemade Bread, customers will treat their families with delicious traditional entrees like Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Marsala or Tilapia Puttanesca.

Here is how it works, "Diner Time" is offered the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Simply place your order by calling Caffe Piazza at 908-874-9494 or email your order to foodforamerica@comcast.net prior to the 2nd Wednesday of the month. You can pick up your order any time after 2:00 on Wednesday. As an added convenience to our customers who can't pick up on Wednesday, we are willing to arrange for pick up on Thursday or Friday, just let us know.
